Postal-system limits

Do not service carrier-access arrow locks or other government-controlled components as ordinary customer locks.

Damaged latch or door

Identify whether the problem is the lock itself or the mailbox/cabinet structure that needs another repair.

Authority and part verification

Identify the lock before dispatch

Photos and dimensions make it possible to distinguish a key request from a complete replacement.

Have ready

  • Full view of the mailbox, cabinet or compartment
  • Close photo of the keyway and all stamped markings
  • Rear view of the lock and cam when lawfully accessible
  • Brand or manufacturer label
  • Proof of ownership, tenancy or management authority
  • Whether the door is open or locked closed
  • Number of locks and whether they should be keyed alike

Postal carrier access is not customer hardware.

Where a mailbox system includes a USPS-controlled arrow lock or master access component, contact the local postal authority or the responsible property manager.

Clear answers

Questions customers ask before booking

Can you replace a lock on my mailbox?

Selected privately owned or manager-controlled mailbox locks may be serviced with verified authority. USPS-owned or USPS-maintained equipment and carrier-access components must be handled through the postal service or responsible property authority.

Can you make a key for a cabinet or utility compartment?

Sometimes, after the lock, code series and authority are verified. Replacement may be more practical when the lock is worn or unidentified.

Do you work on apartment cluster mailboxes?

Only within lawful private/property-management scope. Postal arrow locks and other carrier-controlled components are not ordinary customer locks and are not serviced as such.

Can multiple cabinet locks use one key?

Compatible cam locks can sometimes be supplied keyed alike. Measurements and rotation must be matched first.

Can you open a mailbox without proof it is mine?

No. Identification and ownership, tenancy or management authority must be established before entry or lock replacement.
